Description
CUBE TRIKE HYBRID FAMILY 750 FLASHWHITE 24"
This is it: the CUBE hybrid bike that could, perhaps, replace a car. The Trike Hybrid Family 750 combines safety, ease of use and practicality in one easy-to-handle package, thanks to innovative design in collaboration with BMW and the power of Bosch's fourth-generation Cargo Line drive system. Up front, a Suntour Mobie34 Cargo suspension fork provides a comfortable ride on potholed city streets. Powerful disc brakes – and an additional parking brake – keep your speed in check, and there's an easy-to-use stepless hub gear to make light work of any route. A telescopic seatpost and stem, with adjustable reach for the handlebar, make it simple to set up for any rider. At the rear, the versatile cargo box with built-in (but removeable) seats, safety harnesses and rain cover makes it a cinch to take along your kids, the shopping, the recycling... whatever you need. And the unique tilt mechanism, combined with the stability of three wheels, means it's as easy to manoeuvre as any normal hybrid bike. We think it all adds up to one less car. How about you?
Frame description
The Trike Hybrid Family is so full of ingenious design detail, it's hard to know where to begin. A brand new concept in its own right and a co-development with input from BMW, it combines the easy handling of a 'normal' hybrid bike with the versatility of a load carrying machine and the safety and stability of three wheels. The unique tilting mechanism de-couples the load at the rear from the bike at the front, giving a natural feel to cornering. At the rear, the lightweight and tough box is designed with a high back and sides to help protect your children. A built-in rain cover lifts on its own gas strut, and the versatile seating and safety harnesses can be quickly and easily stowed away if you want to carry a cargo load instead. There's even a storage compartment in the main frame, and the option to fit a front rack. Now... do you really need to take the car?
Find your size!
Enter your height and inseam below and click on 'Calculate my frame size' to see which size you need. You measure your inseam as follows:
1. Stand barefoot with your heels against the wall. Place your feet about 6 inches apart.
2. Grab a book and place it between your legs, with the short side of the book against the wall. Press the book up against your crotch, mimicking the idea of a bicycle saddle.
3. Measure the length from the top of the book to the floor, the distance you measure is your inseam.
