Started at the Top - Fichtel Mountains

Let’s start at the very beginning: 1993. In the early 90’s CUBE was founded in de Fichtel Mountains in Bavaria Germany. Founder Marcus Pürner started in a corner of his father’s furniture factory, assembling bikes and building bike frames. His passion for mountain biking and the worldwide rising popularity of cycling, got the CUBE brand where it stands today.

With the world-wide success of the brand, CUBE always stayed true to its roots. Today, the team in Bavaria counts over a thousand employees. After all these years, CUBE is still owner-managed, and that reassures the company can focus on long term, without having to meet shareholders demands. This way CUBE is able to stay true to its values and keep a steady sail towards the future.

 

 

Now we're Here - CUBE in the UK

The first official CUBE bike purchase in the UK was in the summer of 2006. The CUBE brand grew quickly here after that, leading to dealers switching to more prominent placing of the brand in cycling stores across the country. In 2020 the very first CUBE Store was opened in the UK. Now, CUBE is one of the leading cycling brands, both word-wide and in the United Kingdom.
