Description
CUBE NUROAD ROOKIE SMOKEYFIR/ORANGE XXS
For those times when the road peters out on a family ride, the Nuroad Rookie has the cojones to keep going. With tough, comfortable and grippy 40mm Schwalbe tyres fitted to a pair of CUBE disc wheels as standard, it doesn't care whether you're rolling on tarmac or gravel. The full carbon fork saves weight and adds extra comfort, even for long days in the saddle. Mechanical disc brakes serve up ample stopping power whatever the weather gets up to, and Shimano's gravel-specific GRX 2x10 gears have the range to make light work of any route. It's got adventure in its DNA, so you can feed their curiosity.
Frame description
Blending the off-road pedigree of our cyclocross bikes with the agility of our road machines and a hint of mountain bike DNA, the Nuroad Rookie's frame is perfectly proportioned for younger riders. We've not skimped on the details, either. Generous clearances mean there's plenty of room for larger profile tyres, and rack and mudguard mounts open up a host of options for add-on accessories and extended adventures. There's even a full carbon fork, too, which is a more comfortable option than aluminium.
Find your size!
Enter your height and inseam below and click on 'Calculate my frame size' to see which size you need. You measure your inseam as follows:
1. Stand barefoot with your heels against the wall. Place your feet about 6 inches apart.
2. Grab a book and place it between your legs, with the short side of the book against the wall. Press the book up against your crotch, mimicking the idea of a bicycle saddle.
3. Measure the length from the top of the book to the floor, the distance you measure is your inseam.
