Description
CUBE ELITE 240 C:62 PRO CARBON/BLUE/RED 24"
Even young riders know that speed wins races. It's the reason we developed the Elite 240 C:62 Pro, which takes everything we've learnt about building podium-capable racing mountain bikes and condenses it into pint-sized perfection. The full carbon frame and fork are just the lightweight start. We fitted Advent X 1x10 gears for their easy shifting, wide range and simple reliability. There's a headset limiter to prevent top tube damage in the event of a crash. A 12x100 thru axle up front and child-sized handlebars, grips and brake levers – with hydraulic discs – ensure accurate control at all times. And little touches like the ultra-lightweight Schwalbe Aerothan inner tubes and Newmen wheels are just the kind of details you'd expect from a thoroughbred.
Frame description
We know from working with elite racers that they want a frame that's stiff, responsive and, above all, light. So these are exactly the qualities we built into our Elite 240 C:62's lightweight carbon frame, but scaled down perfectly to fit younger riders. Every single detail of the frame design is aimed at reducing weight without sacrificing strength or stiffness. A tapered head tube, full carbon fork and 12mm thru axles front and rear ensure precise steering and efficient power transfer. We kept the seatstays narrow for a comfortable ride. And cables are routed internally for long-lasting precise shifting, so mum and dad can spend less time tweaking and more time cheering.
Find your size!
Enter your height and inseam below and click on 'Calculate my frame size' to see which size you need. You measure your inseam as follows:
1. Stand barefoot with your heels against the wall. Place your feet about 6 inches apart.
2. Grab a book and place it between your legs, with the short side of the book against the wall. Press the book up against your crotch, mimicking the idea of a bicycle saddle.
3. Measure the length from the top of the book to the floor, the distance you measure is your inseam.
