Description

CUBE CUBIE 180 SLX VIOLET/CORAL 18"

Taking our inspiration from our range of adult mountain bikes, we created a proper off-roader in miniature. Its front and rear V-brakes – operated by levers designed specifically to suit small hands – show that the Cubie 180 SLX is every inch a real, junior mountain bike. The chain guard keeps the transmission safely hidden, and the Schwalbe tyres are just like the ones fitted to mum or dad's mountain bike. The handling is designed to be both fun and safe, and you can rest assured that, like all our bikes, this one has passed our in-house safety tests with flying colours.

Frame description
Youngsters may be small, but we know they're capable of giving their bikes a really hard time. That's why we've given the Cubie 180's frame and fork as much attention as we do our adult frames. The light, strong 6061 aluminium that we use is built into a structure that's easy to ride, but tough enough to withstand plenty of young enthusiasm and energy – and the odd mishap, too. It's every inch a real mountain bike, just stripped down to the bare essentials.

Find your size!
Enter your height and inseam below and click on 'Calculate my frame size' to see which size you need. You measure your inseam as follows:
1. Stand barefoot with your heels against the wall. Place your feet about 6 inches apart.
2. Grab a book and place it between your legs, with the short side of the book against the wall. Press the book up against your crotch, mimicking the idea of a bicycle saddle.
3. Measure the length from the top of the book to the floor, the distance you measure is your inseam.
