These terms are often used interchangeably, which can cause some confusion for cyclists. In reality, everyone uses the terms electric bike and e-bike interchangeably. There are also different ways to spell it: ebike, e bike, and e-bike. E-bikes are simply a synonym for electric bikes. The term e-bike does have a more modern feel and suggests a bit more flair.
